Designed, implemented, and managed an Environmental Program that met the NPDES & TPDES specification given by the Environmental Protection Agency and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. This program was implemented in 4 Divisions within the State of Texas. While managing this program for MHI, I was able to cut their costs of compliance by 50% while saving them $500,000 since January 2008. During the time the program was in place, MHI received 4 random enforcement visits by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. All 4 of those visits resulted in letters of compliance. I was able to achieve these goals by performing 4 tasks.1. Design a MHI specific Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program.2. Hire and Manage Third Party Stromwater Inspectors to performed SWPPP inspection in all Divisions.3. Hire and manage Erosion and Sediment Control contractors to install and maintain Best Management Practices.4. Perform onsite and in classroom training for Project and Construction Managers and implements a protocol for internal procedures.In 2009 i took over the tasks of community maintenance which consisted of managing Code Enforcement of 700+ developed single family lots within the DFW metroplex.MHI's Compliance Program gave me the tools I needed to be successful in the Environmental Compliance Industry.
