Postdoctoral position in Human Genetics at UMRS 974 Inserm Unit (Center of Research in Myology) in the Genetics and pathophysiology of neuromuscular disorders linked to the extracellular matrix and to the nucleus​ team. Participation in the European Solve-RD project within work package 2: Novel molecular causes.• Strong commitment in Solve-RD Data Interpretation Task Force and Data Analysis Task Force with the common aim to solve rare diseases together with 24 European Reference Networks, in close collaboration with clinicians for medical terminology (OMIM, ORDO, HPO terms).• Extended whole-exome analysis experience in both Solve-RD project (19,000 exomes/genomes) and Institute of Myology (1,200 exomes) contexts using builtin platform for diagnosis and gene discovery (GPAP and Polyweb, respectively), with proven ability to provide molecular diagnostic in the clinical and research settings, using Sanger, whole-exome and whole-genome data.• Consolidated research and technical skills, as well as in-depth neuromuscular disorder knowledge, with the implication of a new disease-causing gene using primary dermal fibroblasts, cell lines and zebrafish knockdown (experiments include confocal microscopy, western blot, RT-qPCR, ELISA, collagen content evaluation).• Excellent written and verbal experience as demonstrated by communications in 4+ national (Assises de Génétique) and international congresses/meetings (World Muscle Society, Solve-RD meeting, Myology).Director: Dr. Gisèle Bonne and Dr. Valérie Allamand
