Management of the day to day on a busy custody settlement and payments desk. This involves overseeing the day to day work of a team of 5 who process, settle and asset managed all our clients assets across all markets and reporting to TL and section manager.Projection management- Running of various STP project to move high volume clients onto self service.This involves engaging all stakeholders to agree a plan document and implement the various different facets. Creation of capacity plan that has been rolled out across the department and is being discussed re rolling out across the wider group.This plan involves documentation of all team processes. (Value add and non value add.)Assigning each task a processing time based on testing how long it takes to do each process. Creation of formula based spreadsheet that allows teams to plug in processing data and delivers capacity output. Creation of complexity model based on product/transaction type to allow for this to be taken into account in model.Meeting with senior management to present this for sign off.Now in use department wide.Allows teams to map capacity and identify trends and resource issues.

Running of a settlements desk reporting into team leader and section manager.Responsible for answering all settlement related queries.Management of new deals, liasing with clients, Transaction Managers,ICSDs(euroclear and Clearstream), DTC, crest and all domestic markets such as Tokyo, Milan and Frankfurt , to provide smoothest possible settlement of new deals we act as custodian for. This includes checking settlement formats for various markets and checking if the security is tradable in the market the client wishes to trade in.
