A second year post-graduate researcher in computational physics at Trinity College Dublin. I have a first class honours undergraduate masters degree in mathematics from Queen's University Belfast and have previously worked as a financial software developer. My research consists of methods in accelerating density functional theory calculations with machine learning. By combining my mathematical background and extensive data science knowledge, I am utilising complex graph neural network architectures to provide accurate descriptions of molecular systems, from which advances are directly applicable to all fields within nanoscience.
