The areas of focus are Creativity, Cross-disciplinary Collaboration, Strategic CoCreation, Future Visioning, and Visual SenseMaking.

Prior to forming the UnderstandingLab Elizabeth was Co-Founder/Creator/Managing Director and of Scient's Innovation Acceleration Lab. In collaboration with GK VanPatter she conceived, designed and directed all aspects of the Innovation Lab including its strategy, organization, environments, and award winning cross-disciplinary skill-building program.
