Evgentech is a startup company with technology that dramatically enhances battery charging speed without causing the damaging effects that invariably result from prior art fast charging methods. My responsibilities include the management of all of Evgentech’s legal matters including corporate and licensing transactions. I also help devise strategies to protect and monetize Evgentech's intellectual property.

- Joined this firm as a result of the merger of the corporate law practice group of Altman, Kritzer & Levick, P.C. with the Atlanta office of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig.- Intellectual Property experience encompassed: (i) the negotiation and drafting of software license agreements, software distribution agreements, web site development agreements and web content license agreements, and (ii) trademark prosecution.- Corporate experience included the drafting and negotiation of agreements in connection with corporate mergers and acquisitions, and the due diligence associated therewith.- Entertainment practice was focused on assisting independent music production companies in the structuring and negotiation of arrangements for the exploitation and distribution of sound recordings.- Served as interim general counsel for mid-sized industrial company for six (6) months during tenure with this firm, with responsibility for the management of outside counsel, general corporate matters and a variety of commercial agreements.

In-house attorney for NASDAQ listed record company with annual revenues of approximately $65MM. Responsible for transactions involving Platinum's distribution division (PED Distribution Corp.) and its Atlanta based record labels including domestic and international distribution deals, recording and production deals and licensing deals. Duties included the negotiation, drafting and review of contracts and the development and analysis of P&Ls for each project. Also responsible for general corporate legal matters.

Worked with the corporate finance and intellectual property practice groups of this firm. Experience included: (i) mergers, acquisitions and private placements (primarily for technology companies); (ii) the drafting and review of software license and distribution agreements, web site development agreements and web content licenses; and (iii) trademark prosecution.Returned to this in 1999 after a 2 year stint as in-house counsel with a publicly traded independent record company/distributor.

Responsible for negotiating and drafting master recording and publishing license agreements to grant musical artists the right to digitally sample the cre¬ative works of other musical artists.

Provided the electrical design for a variety of pulp and paper industry projects with budgets of 5 million dollars and above, including paper machine rebuilds, recovery boiler rebuilds, and a blow heat recov¬ery system. Duties included detailed design and project management.
