Establish editorial guidelines for contributions for the Journal.Establish an editorial board to assist the Editor in the solicitation and review of contributions for the Journal.Solicit, receive, review, select, and edit contributions for the Journal.Provide the Publisher with all text ready for copy-editing for each issue of the Journal.Review proofs for any issue of the Journal.

Supervise Circulation, Shelving, Reserves, MOBIUS, Financial, and Interlibrary Loan units of the Access Services Department, located at both the Thomas Jefferson Library and the Ward E. Barnes Library.Develop departmental policies, provide long-range planning toward departmental goals, and represent Access Services on the Library Management Council.Coordinate major projects involving optimization of space and organization of the UMSL Libraries’ collections.Serve on a variety of committees and working groups within the library organization to accomplish both project-oriented and long-term goals of the UMSL Libraries, the UMSL campus, and the UM System.Serve as liaison to outside entities throughout the university and across the St. Louis metropolitan area, negotiating and facilitating access for such groups.Work regular Reference shifts at the Thomas Jefferson Library, as well as occasional shifts at the Ward E. Barnes Library. Serve as a subject selector/liaison for the UMSL Music department.
