The founder of Environmental Preservation Solution Gilbert L. Bailey is an advisor in Environmental Compliance, Green Purchasing, Green Program Management, Sales, Marketing and Promotions. He has a bachelor’s degree in Economics Business and Government from Metropolitan State College, Denver, Colorado, and has an AA degree in Business Administration from San Diego City College, California. He has more that 25 years experience in Cost Accounting, and running his own businesses. He worked for the Environmental Protection Agency Region VIII for 6 years where he developed their Environmentally Preferable Purchasing Program, wrote grants, reviewed grants, and implemented environmental rules and regulations. While working for he EPA he performed the first Plastic Lumber Pilot Project that was funded by EPA’s Head Quarters, it was a partnership between the Environmentally Preferable Purchasing Program Region VIII, the National Park Services and plastic lumber companies that donated plastic lumber for the project. He held the first Scrap Tire conference in the state of Colorado, and trained Purchase Card Holders, Purchasing Agents, Contracting Agents and Project Officers on how to implement purchasing recycled products and services into their everyday purchasing practices. After leaving the Environmental Protection Agency in June 2001 he started Environmental Preservation Solutions that provides simple solutions to your everyday E-Waste Collection and Green Purchasing issues.
