Led an amazing team of Software, ML, MLOps, and Building Science Engineers as we built out our modelling platform, an expert system that uses machine learning, graph optimization algorithms, and a rules engine to create carbon reduction plans for commercial real estate in North America.

Led the development of the first version of our modelling platform which created carbon reduction plans for office buildings across North America.Designed and implemented an in-house system for feature flagging.

Reduced data integration effort by two-thirds by identifying and developing customized tooling.Successfully derisked a business pivot by quickly building a proof of concept SQL-based rules engine to encode building science knowledge.

Served on the Board of Directors and took on various projects to strengthen the organization. I led various projects such as creating the Audit and Finance committees, rewriting our policy on responding to Incidents at conferences and events, and implemented executive review practices. I also worked on initiatives like creating a strategic and action plans, improving our financial accountability, and improving stakeholder engagement.

Supported a team of 18 great student leaders while we tried to improve the student experience for all undergradute engineering students. I also started and oversaw a major restructure of the organization which amalgamated two student societies into one and increased the organization’s long term planning ability.
