During the last semester of my undergraduate career, I served as a Peer Mentor for Writers in Workplaces, a learning community for students from any major taking certain 200-level English classes. I coordinated study groups, writing workshops, and social activities for 30 students; assisted students in becoming familiar with the university; advised and referred students to appropriate resources; and attended ENGL 250 (Written, Oral, Visual, and Electronic Communication) three times per week and assisted students with classwork.

I wrote and posted news stories and profiles, updated the college's online events listing, prepared and distributed e-newsletters, copyedited finished publications, contributed to strategic communications projects, and completed miscellaneous office duties as assigned.
