Kuipers Electronic Engineering B.V. provides a unique modular hardware and software concept for remote management and monitoring: telemetry and telecontrol. Telemetry and telecontrol solutions are used, among other things, for water management, traffic control equipment, waste management, logistics, agriculture, cooling systems and control systems.During my role at Kuipers Electronic Engineerging B.V. as a Software Engineer, I was responsible for porting the TMX master post application (C++) from 32-bit (x86) to 64-bit (x64). This because the 32-bit variant of TMX ran into memory limits. The TMX software is a PC application that makes it possible to remotely connect via PC to various substations in order to read in the sensors and control actuators.

During this role; I was responsible to test different LoRa-based battery powered devices.

I worked on a battery powered sensor-module that is responsible for monitoring different bearing-conditions.

De peercoach geeft de eerstejaars student steun bij het benuttenen ontwikkelen van kwaliteiten, capaciteiten en talenten. De peercoach stimuleert destudent beter te presteren en te functioneren in de opleiding. Na het behalen van mijnpropedeuse aan het einde van mijn eerste schooljaar, mocht ik de tweede en derdeschooljaar als peercoach zijnde één keer in de week eerstejaarsstudenten van deopleiding elektrotechniek steunen. Voornamelijk werden de volgende vakkenbehandeld: wiskunde, regeltechniek, analoge elektronica, digitale techniek,energietechniek en C programmeren.
