Serving as Director on a five member elected board that oversees $7 million+ budget, funded primarily by property taxes, for the Cameron Park Community services district. In partnership with the CSD General Manager, the board gives direction for policy, priorities and spending regarding fire and emergency services, CC&R's, Parks and Recreation, our community center and franchise waste management agreements. Served as President of the Board in 2021, chairing the Budget and Admin committee, as well ad hoc committees for a Solar Project, LLAD's, fire contract negotiations, and led our search for a new General Manager in 2021. Advocated for CSD with El Dorado County with COVID relief funds other county decision impacting CSD and Cameron Park community. Oversaw final settlement of litigation for community center construction defects. Currently serve on committees for Fire and Emergency services as well as CC&Rs and an ad hoc committee exploring annexation of district Fire and Emergency services.

Invited to help lead and support student ministries in difficult interim period after previous youth pastor resigned. Stepped in help execute key fundraising events: Golf Tournament (70+ golfers, over 3 dozen sponsors and $13,000 raised) and Fireworks booth (almost $24,000 in sales, over $9,000 net raised for student ministries). Coordinated planning and execution of missions trip in Ensendada, Mexico, with 32 volunteers (15 students, 17 adults) to build a 900 sq. ft. parsonage in 4 days. Partnered with interim director to oversee weekly meetings for Junior and Senior high groups, including teaching, program and leadership development.

As Director of the University's Woodland Regional Center, I oversaw the staff, facility and daily operations, assisted in student enrollment, advisement and retention; recruited and developed faculty; served as a liaison to local government and business entities; sat on Woodland 3x2x2 educational roundtable (with WJUSD, Yolo County Office of Education, Woodland Community College and the City of Woodland); helped begin developing regional influence, and partnered in program development and expansion. In coordination with Woodland Community College, CAPCA, Yolo County Dept. of Agriculture, and local ag businesses, began development of Ag Business degree. Coordinated with other local institutions (Cambridge College, Woodland Community College) to begin partnership for local pathways in adult education.
