Growing up, I was always fascinated by computers and technology. While other kids spent their time in school computer labs playing Number Munchers or Oregon Trail, I was just as likely to be found at a DOS prompt, trying out different combinations of cd and dir commands, just enjoying exploring the file system and looking for programs and files that weren't intended to be available to the students.It's been a winding road to end up making technology my profession rather than a hobby, including almost two decades spent honing my interpersonal, organizational & leadership skills in the world of fine dining and restaurant management.Data Engineering has proven to be the perfect intersection of these two phases of my life: combining the innate curiosity that drives me to investigate mysteries and puzzles with single-minded focus and the need to communicate my discoveries in elegant & efficient ways.
