I am a Patient Access Specialist at the OHSU Spine Center at Portland’s South Waterfront, welcoming in patients and scheduling their appointments and continuing my health reception experience from One Community Health.

I am a freelance contributor to Portland’s long-running alternative publication, writing on the fields of music, film, technology, and food.

(This position carried over from NorthShore Medical Group in January 2024.) I am a Front Desk Receptionist, welcoming in patients and ensuring their appointments and records are kept secure. I also send faxes from doctors to other medical facilities, drugstores, and state government offices, as well as mail out letters to patients for such purposes as informing them of test results and reminding them of upcoming appointments. I worked in the White Salmon office of NorthShore Medical Group from March 2021 through May 2022, at which time I transferred to the Stevenson office. NorthShore merged with One Community Health, based in Hood River, OR, in January 2024.

I was a Book Reviewer, working remotely and freelance to read and review independently published books across the spectrum of genres, for all ages.

I was an editor for an online publication (with a print run in the summer of 2022) specializing in local and cultural interest for the greater Pacific Northwest. I worked remotely to assist the staff who were primarily based in Seattle, as well as in Portland. Currently this project is on indefinite hiatus.

I am an Amazon Prime Now shopper, picking grocery items throughout the store to fulfill customers’ online orders and ensuring high standards of organic integrity.

I work in the General Books department, shelving merchandise, assisting customers on the sales floor, and hand-selling popular titles, with emphasis on YA and speculative novels.

I tutored elementary school students (predominantly in grades 3-6) in English and math, with emphasis on critical thinking in both subjects.

I assisted customers and shelved merchandise in the bookstore’s Textbook Department. I worked seasonally during “rush” periods at the beginning and end of each quarter.
