Responsibilities:• Manage vendor staff• Work with Development, Test and Program Management to understand operations requirements and drive to solutions• Work closely with lab customers to gain a deep understanding of the work they do in order to provide a high level of support• Manage server infrastructure in a self-managed lab, including racking or unracking servers, replacing failed equipment and maintaining appropriate security measures• Maintain network resources including: routers, switches, cabling & uplinks to the corporate network and remote data centers• Manage multiple SAN environments• Image, rebuild or upgrade operating systems and service applications• Ensure all operating systems and service applications are patched with security patches• Maintain Microsoft Windows Clustered servers, System Center Virtual Machine (SCVMM & Hyper-V) & hosts and custom server images • Support access management to secure labs and managed spaces• Research and provide recommended hardware solutions to solve business needs• Track hardware inventory• Implement new Azure subscriptions and manage expenditures
