Design Engineer
CurrentRole OverviewAs a Design Engineer at Woco Group US, you design and manage technical drawings, oversee design data, and coordinate with teams and suppliers to develop and produce plastic and rubber car parts.Key Responsibilities • GDT Drawings & 3D/Solid Modeling: • Create and maintain GDT drawings, and develop surface and solid 3D models for plastic and rubber components. • Ideation & Development: • Conceptualize new design solutions and products for car parts, guiding them from initial ideas to production. • Presentations & Proposals: • Develop and present DFM proposals and design changes using PowerPoint. • Communication: • Correspond with OEMs and tooling companies, providing project updates and addressing queries. • PDM Teamcenter: • Manage design data using Teamcenter and PLM systems. • Project Collaboration: • Participate in meetings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align on project goals. • Data Analysis: • Review technical data, evaluate suppliers, and assess production viability.Skills & Qualifications • Proficient in GDT, 3D surface and solid modeling, and PDM systems (Teamcenter, PLM). • Strong presentation, communication, and project management skills. • Knowledgeable in high-end materials, production equipment, and automotive industry standards. • Ability to manage multiple projects and travel as needed.
