I’d like to consider myself a jack of many trades, but a master to none.I’ve spent over a decade in public service, learning all there is to know about public transportation. From mounting the saddle as a Bus Operator for both Los Angeles Metro and the City of Santa Monica’s Big Blue Bus, spending five years as a Training Operator, and now settling into my new role in Transportation Demand Management, I’ve found a passion in helping people get to where they want and need to in a safe, efficient and sustainable way.When not mapping out sustainable transportation options, I spend time either freelance writing or snapping photos; having published work for publications like the Beachcomber, a biweekly publication highlighting news and events in the greater Long Beach area with a circulation of 64,000 readers, Santa Monica Next, an online blog dedicated to grassroots reporting in Santa Monica, and feature writing and social media management for the City of Santa Monica’s office of public information.Graduating from the Department of Journalism & Public Relations from California State University, Long Beach in 2020 with honors and numerous awards as a staff writer for the Daily Forty-Niner, I’ve always found way to weave communications into every aspect of my work.Journalism and public service in my opinion are tandem skillsets, listening to the needs of others and implementing them in a way that enhances the quality of life for all.Whether it’s the skills I’ve attained while serving in public transportation, or my rudimentary days within the amusement industry as a young adult, or the reporting experience I’ve cultivated, I look to use real-world experience to push the quality of life higher for everyone."It's not that I'm so smart, I just stay with problems longer."-Albert Einstein
