Since joining predecessor firm GM Advisory Group in 2015, Eric has become a specialist in private market investments including Venture Capital, Private Equity, Private Credit and Real Estate. He recognizes that closely held businesses, corporate transactions, or private investments can be the most transformative experiences in a clients’ life where a trusted advisor is needed most. As a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst® (CAIA), Eric’s experience as a Director of Alternative Investments has provided exposure across all asset classes, industries/sectors, capital structure and deal types.As a member of the Wealthspire Investment Team, Eric is responsible for sourcing and manager due diligence across various strategies on the private investment platform. He believes that private markets serve a role in diversifying client portfolios and provide a risk/return profile that can help clients achieve their unique objectives. He enjoys helping clients craft portfolios and manage allocations as positions mature over time and require additional decision making. In addition, Eric works directly with clients as a due diligence resource on deal flow that clients may source from their own networks. He finds the privilege of speaking with Founders, entrepreneurs, and asset managers to learn and analyze new businesses models and investment strategies to be intellectually stimulating. He also finds fulfillment and commonly provides strategic advice or active support to operators and executives undergoing an important business challenge. Eric’s entrepreneurial nature is a driving force behind the firm’s ability to bring customized and best-in-class ideas to meet diverse client needs.Eric has prior experience managing pooled investment vehicles and has helped clients in an outsourced COO/CFO capacity. He serves as an advisor to startups and emerging managers who need guidance on scaling and institutionalizing operations, governance, and financing solutions. Prior to joining Wealthspire, Eric was a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton where he learned about organizational best practices across business models and strategies for improving operations.Wealthspire Advisors LLC and its subsidiaries are separately registered investment advisers and subsidiary companies of NFP, an Aon company.
