About Eric Birckelbaw

Hi there! I'm Eric, I am the Director of Development Operations at CyberSafe Solutions, architecting innovative security tools for next generation threat detection and response.I studied at the University of Maryland, College Park, where I worked for 3 years as a lab technician and programmer for the Joint Quantum Institute, a quantum computing research team leading the field in ion-trap quantum computers. I graduated in 2018 with a BS in Physics and a Minor in CyberSecurity.Post graduation, I immediately joined CyberSafe Solutions; originally as our first Tier II security analyst, before quickly transitioning to DevOps and building the tools that now orchestrate most of our operations. Of course I couldn't have done all that alone; along the way I also had the pleasure of building the department of diverse talents which I now proudly lead.In my free time I enjoy tinkering with AI, cooking, and performing jazz piano.
