Provide wireless engineering for the Program Management Office at Hanscom AFB. Support AF BITI Wireless users with system configuration management, software/hardware upgrades and troubleshooting of connectivity issues as a Tier 3 resource. Respond to client access issues troubleshooting physical and logical connectivity i.e. Layer 1, 2 and 3 connectivity issues, Active Directory and certificate authentication issues and Dynamic Host configuration Protocol. Provide users with guidance to properly configure client devices ensuring successful network connectivity. Electronically provision new access points and verify network connectivity. Assist BITI in conducting various compliance inspections as required (e.g. CCRI, Scope Edge, NETLAW).

Monitor Remedy ticket queue and respond to incidents and requests. Troubleshoot application issues that occur on the enterprise network. Implements new Firewall rules based on customer requirements. Troubleshooting new and existing firewall issues to come up with solutions. Creates and modifies Bluecoat proxy exemptions. Blocking and unblocking web pages per customer request. Troubleshooting webpage issues. Utilize Unix/Linux Platforms on various systems (e.g., Red Hat servers and Sidewinder Firewalls are UNIX/Linux based platforms). Subject Matter Expert for boundary on the Change Advisory Board(CAB) responsible for reviewing and approving all boundary enterprise changes. USAFCENT Network Operations Security Center Location: Shaw Air Force Base, Sumter, South Carolina December 2007 to June 2010 Responsible for processing and implementing Firewall Exception Requests for 17 United States Air Forces Central (USAFCENT) remote sites, configured new Active Directory Domain Controllers, Microsoft Exchange servers, Remedy servers, DNS servers, DHCP servers and WINS servers. Created Group Policies. Provided Tier 1 support by monitoring and troubleshooting network devices. Responsible for creating and managing Remedy trouble tickets. Provided customer service for users at deployed sites throughout USAFCENT Area of Responsibility.
