• My role had 2 primary focuses:(1) Refining the transit customer experience through bus stop related projects. (2) Developing internal processes and standards related to bus stops.
• Installed 80+ shelters in 30+ communities while managing the Bus Shelter Program - $5 million capital project focused on the installation bus shelters across BC.
• Completed Kaizen events, including an “Adding a Bus Stop process” Kaizen in which we reduced internal process time by 40%
• Lead cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and problem solve. One major win - achieving a signed tri-party agreement for a unique bus shelter. Side projects:
• Established a project coordinator training plan. This structure is now used by multiple departments across BC Transit.
• Developed a “Road Assessment Tool” to humanize BC Transit’s infrastructure design guidelines. The goal was to increase provincial awareness regarding the “why” behind the design requirements

• Coordinated >$1.5 million in projects with 100+ emergencies and restorations active at the same time

• Performed research in the Aerosol Research Lab. Focusing on the field of fluid dynamics (specifically gaseous and particle flows).
• Engineered a system to test the effectiveness of drug delivery to various locations in the nasal passage
