About Eric Brooks

Years ago I was reading through the book of John and came across one of my favorite scriptures John 10, 11-13 "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep. A hired hand will run when he sees a wolf coming. He will abandon the sheep because they don't belong to him and he isn't their shepherd. And so the wolf attacks them and scatters the flock. The hired hand runs away because he's working only for the money and doesn't really care about the sheep." God, through scripture, speaks to us all in different ways. This gave me a revelation that helped mold me and my work ethic into the person I am today. We should apply these same principles into our careers. We should do our best at our place of employment at all times and treat it like it is our own. Enjoy what you do and make it personal. If you're just working for the money and aren't committed to what you do you will struggle in your career path and fail to help any business grow to be successful.
