My practice at Ross Barristers is a wide-ranging commercial and civil litigation practice that includes real estate litigation, estates matters, and regulatory defence work.

In my time at Polley Faith, my practice included commercial and general civil litigation, appeals, regulatory work before the OSC, MFDA, FSCO and CMPA, as well as criminal defence work. I appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court (including regularly on the Commercial List), and the Court of Appeal. Most notably, I served as co-counsel in a three-month jury trial following which our client was acquitted of criminal charges relating to securities fraud.

As a Superior Court Clerk, I worked with a number of judges on the criminal, civil, class actions, and commercial lists. Tasks include attending court and discussing proceedings, conducting research and preparing memoranda of law, editing draft judgments, and contributing to academic endeavours.

Montreal, Canada Area

Student law clerk to the Honourable Justice Francois Doyon. Read parties' submissions, conducted independent research, prepared bench memoranda, attended hearings, and discussed cases with le juge Doyon.

Manage research resources and practices, conduct quality control exercises, ensure efficient and effective responses to client inquiries, oversee a team of 80-100 volunteers with 5 other co-directors, chair the Quality of Information Committee, report to the Board of Directors and participate in Board meetings.
