The commander is responsible for the formal training of 2,000 students annually in the KC-46 Pegasus, C-17 Globemaster III and KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft for the USAF and over thirty partner air forces from across the world. In addition, the wing simultaneously maintains a worldwide capability to support combatant commanders by deploying mission-ready Airmen on short notice.• Strategic program manager fielded four aircraft and eight training devices valued at $700 milliondollars; led 125-person workforce to achieve initial operating capability of the critical flying training unit.• Conceptualized strategic alignment and communications with Congress and the Department ofDefense to obtain a $700 thousand-dollar annual allowance increase to aid families in the austere locale.
