Current• Manage default activities for Virginia Housing’s Single Family Servicing portfolio, delegating essential tasks and responsibilities as well as coordinating group and individual meetings to maximize the effectiveness of helping Virginians maintain affordable housing.• Initiated Collection manual dial strategies increasing outbound call production between 10% - 15% year over year.• Coordinated with management to create compliance and quality assurance departments to further assess effectiveness of default strategies, and adherence to investor/insurer and internal procedures.• Initiated risk controls which prompted the creation of a Risk department for Single Family default servicing. • Recommended and completed the initiation of a Black Knight consultant to further understand of the servicing system.• Improved foreclosure prevention techniques to mitigate keeping borrowers in their homes.• Maintained actual foreclosure volume below forecasted estimates of at or below 2%. • Review and approve liquidation strategies as presented by Foreclosure and/or REO staff. • Lead all Servicing legal initiatives. Coordinate internal witnesses, evaluate file with counsel to determine litigation strategy; identify and create evidentiary file to provide counsel. At times, called as an expert witness in mortgage servicing.• A proven Management style with strong leadership emphasis on teamwork. Each individual understands how their efforts contribute to the overall departmental and corporate goals. • Collaborated with IT personnel to assist in the creation of management reports to ensure timeliness and compliance within workflows. • Develop and implement semi-annual performance reviews of direct staff.
