Key Responsibilities:Focus on product sustaining engineering from production release until EOL.Taking up the lead position for responding to customer technical issue escalations.Work with other team members (BIOS, FW, Ops etc.) on issue duplication, debugging, root cause detection & solution implementation to fix identified problems.Provide engineering investigation report to customers.Conduct technical review on datasheet of new/alternate/cost down components.Ensure best form fit function component selection to meet quality, availability, cost and manufacturing requirement.Create validation test plan, hands on hardware validation & writing reports.Raise ECO & MCO to update latest BOM structure of the product in Agile system.Key Achievements:Exemplified customer centric approach by spending significant time/effort to ensure customer escalations (SAS port link & ADM1066 power sequencer failure) were given top priority, rallied through various DOEs, finding an immediate root cause on time & apply containment to minimize customer delivery impact.Executed multiple hardware/component cost reduction projects which resulted in saving of USD30K/year.Provide engineering support to production. Key Responsibilities:Constantly search & develop new test hardware to enhance tester capability (UPH, test accuracy/coverage).Perform hardware setup & validation for prototype tester. Review & analysis Minitab statistical qualification results (GR&R, Correlation).Engineering support for issue seen in production tester.Improve & redesign tester hardware.
