Manage Metal commodities (Metal-Machined, Metal-Turned and Metal-Gear) with MPas and suppliers on NPD and CPE products for large format and 3D printers (LFP & 3D) by ensuring robust assurance of supply, achieve quality requirements and development of technical cost roadmaps2. Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities through continuous cost reviews, strategic negotiation, design and process improvements and develop supplier competencies to enhance overall cost competitiveness3. Collaborate and communicate with management, internal and outsourced associates regarding progression and standards compliance, recording and reporting issues, provides problem solving ideas and solutions for new and existing products2. Support engineering sales on precision plastic components by developing engineering perspective and provide viable DFM (Design for Manufacturability) proposal in mold fabrication to achieve client expectations and requirements3. Participate in design, development, documentation, analysis and testing of projects to ensure quality products are released on time for build4. Monitor and evaluate plastic injection molding performance to meet functionality, reliability, serviceability, regulatory requirements and system quality throughout the product lifecycle5. Interpret and analyze plastic gears information with gear design software (KISSsoft) and apply knowledge to improve gear design from conceptual to final design phase6. Co-operate with Japan engineers on designing and building Auto-Inspection machines along with robot movement programming7. Independently diagnosing and resolving complex Auto-Inspection machines and performance problems with precision tuning8. Research and analyze design modifications to support continuous improvement for existing projects
