Control movement of vehicular traffic through construction projects. Assists engineer in the planning and implementation of traffic routing plans, and type and location of control points. Installs traffic control signs, markers, barriers, through job site in designated places listed in traffic control plans. Informs drivers of detour routes, and closures through the job site. Records any license plate numbers that are in violation of any traffic control set within the job site and report to law enforcement. Supervise and instruct any pilot car drivers, flaggers, and or laborers on the job site. Fill out daily paperwork concerning any equipment installed or removed from the job site, or concerning any accidents or damage that may occur on the job site.
