The following is an example of my regular HSE duties: safety tracking, equipment inspections, equipment inventory & supply, safety training, disaster planning & preparedness, Root Cause Root Analysis Accident Investigation, Rig Site Safety Orientations, Personnel on Board List, Fire Fighter Training, Emergency Drill Training, all federal compliance issues. In short anything Safety related was my responsibility. While working for Acadian I was contracted to EXXON on several of their leased platforms/rigs and made responsible for maintaining their HSE/company standards. This is mentioned due to the fact EXXON has been considered at the forefront of HSE standards in the oil & gas industry.
