Handling the transportation damage claim process, reviewing all damage estimates to ensure they are in line with warranty hours. I managed the Home Depot maintenance program, ensuring correct billing and invoicing on 3500 plus trailers on the road. Finalized the transition of the program with Home Depot. Working with SAP to correctly move inventory from branch to branch locations. I handled the warranty issues on used equipment with Dealers and Branches ensuring the material reached them in a timely and efficient manner.

I was in charge of the complete hiring process. Some of the duties include Recruitment, employment open houses, advertising, affirmative action plan, applicant data records, application process, I-9 forms, staffing hourly production manpower, staffing temporary manpower, manpower placement, new hire orientation, bid job procedure, department change placement, shift preference placement, bulletin boards and postings, and the United Way campaign. I worked very closely with production concerning placement and staffing.

. I was a supervisor overseeing 40 plus associates and 5 coordinators. My duties entailed organizing the hourly workforce to finish trailers that came off the line that needed repairs. I worked very closely with all levels of production and engineering to build the highest quality trailer in the industry. I worked with the engineering department in design and concept of new innovation in the industry such as the road railer trailer. This position taught me about the different type’s trailers that we build and showed me the diversity of the workforce.

This position was on 2nd shift with no supervision. I was the point of contact for five production lines.

My duties in the environmental department was to deliver product to all production lines, check and ensure the paint booths air flow met the standards, and to clean up any types of spills that my occur. I was HAZMAT certified in containing and cleaning up of potential spills. I was also trained in the disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

I worked as an hourly associate on the sidetable production line. I worked mainly in the rail cutting area cutting the top rail for the semi trailer. I ran a pneumatic saw cutting aluminum to various length and dimension for the production line. It is a very physically demanding job.
