A part of the Planning team at Baker Construction Inc. in Idaho Falls. In accordance with ACI and Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) standards and specifications, my general responsibilities include:-The oversight for generating and creating work plans, work packages and work instructions.-Coordinated with subject matter experts, review design drawings and specifications.-Supervise the planning team in drafting, generating and gaining higher authority approval of work plans, packages and work instructions, as needed and required, in order to allow the work force to construct a nuclear project for the Idaho National Laboratory.Remaining 3 years Active Duty as a Quality Assurance Work Center Supervisor for the Naval Submarine Support Facility in New London, Connecticut. I was required to: -Have an understanding of work controls and work processes, to include work package generation, review, correction and closeout. -Lead and supervise different teams in "first time quality" completion of repairs, that include troubleshooting, testing, repair, or replacement of electrical and/or mechanical weapons control and SONAR systems or electrical/fiber optic cabling on different classes of United States Submarines.-Organize and provide training for members of the team to ensure they had the proper knowledge and experience to perform QA maintenance.First 5 year active duty as a Sonar Technician (Submarines) in the United States Navy. I would: -Operate and control SONAR systems and evaluate, interpret and report all complex data to supervisors. -Perform organizational and intermediate maintenance and all systems and subsystems associated with submarine SONAR. -Assisted with work such as nuclear weapons security, torpedo onloading and offloading-Provided physical security for all personnel and classified material onboard the submarine.Qualified Fiber Optics Installer in NAVSEA shipboard applications.Obtained a certification for Fiber Optics Installer (FOI) given through the Electronic Technicians Association-International.
