Technology Solutions Manager
CurrentInnovative Solutions: Formulate and execute a forward-thinking business plan for ISU Book Store technology. Research, evaluate, and recommend technological solutions that align with ISU Book Store's mission, vision, and values. Utilize computer programming skills to ensure that processes are optimized, ultimately leading to increased sales and revenue. Technology Leadership: Lead ISU Book Store Technology systems, including the supervision of the System Analyst. Responsibilities encompass system administration, maintenance, campus technology liaison, and application development. Maintain an in-depth understanding and working knowledge of evolving technology trends and applications. Lead the design and development of new applications and enhancements. Logistics and eCommerce: Lead the ISU Book Store Logistics and eCommerce team, including the supervision of the Senior Logistics Supervisor. Take charge of processes, technology needs, and eCommerce program initiatives. This includes planning for future enhancements and pioneering new applications that maximize automation to boost sales. Efficiency Enhancement: Identify areas where operational efficiency can be elevated and collaborate with leadership to design and implement technology-driven solutions, ultimately bolstering productivity and driving sales growth. Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication and training among end-users, store management, campus relations, college store/retail industry, and system suppliers to solicit, gather, and prioritize enhancements, information, and new application development to enhance revenues and processes. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that software and systems conform to campus, industry, and governmental regulations and requirements. Particular attention should be given to PCI compliance and other relevant Federal, State, and University regulations.
