My role in CT VOST is to monitor social media to identify posts having medical related issues and security concerns during large events and/or storms. Also assisted in monitoring and stop the spread of misinformation and redirecting people toward reliable sources.

• Monitor emergency radio traffic during large events in order to assist emergency personnel with any incidents that have occurred during events. • Set up and strike communication equipment during large events and help safely transport the equipment to and from storage. • Participate in emergency drills including the online state-wide drill using Web EOC
