Mechanical Designer
Current-Prepare designs of engineered systems in the advanced heating and filtration industry including heaters and pressure vessels.-Develop and detail 2D drawings for fabricated products and equipment in industrial and hazardous area applications.-Create 3D models including the programming of automated design tools.-Coordinate and provide technical support with all departments.-Verify fit and tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.-Using design reports to calculate specific design criteria and code requirements for custom engineered products (ASME BPVC Sect. VIII)-Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues.-Generate material lists and specification sheets for various components.-Organize a bill-of-routing for products outlining detailed manufacturingprocedures.-Update ERP database system with latest product revisions.
