Eric De Backer’s role is Lead of the Copper/Convergence Business Team in the Broadband Access BU (Fixed Networks Division) of Nokia Belgium in Antwerp. From May 2018 - Present : He’s the Lead of the Copper/Convergence Business Team in Broadband Access BU : - Worldwide responsible for managing the Voice product roadmaps for ISAM Voice and the PSTN transformations projects with leading Telecom Operators of EMEA region (Europe, Middle-East and Africa), APAC (Greater China, Azie,..) and CALA region (Central America and Latin America), acting interface between the Regional Business Center/local Customer Units and RnD.- Responsible for Copper/Convergence Roadmap on ISAM/Lightspan.FTTH Voice Technology domain leader, responsible for managing the new Customer Voice requirements for xPON ONT Voice (Voice interop w/ SIP/H248 IMS cores/MGCs,...)
