When I started working for Juneau Youth Services in 2011, I was hired as a Behavioral Health Associate. As a Behavioral Health Associate, I was responsible for the direct care of clients at their Montana Creek Facility. After about a year and a half as a Behavioral Health Associate, I was promoted to the position of Case Manager at the same Montana Creek Facility. As a Case Manager at the Level 4 Residential Facility, I was responsible for coordinating treatment team meetings and services for clients. One year after becoming a Case Manager, I was promoted to Supervisor at Montana Creek.As a Supervisor for Juneau Youth Services, I worked at the Montana Creek Residential Facility. Montana Creek is a Level 4 Residential Treatment Facility for youth ages 12-18 with dual diagnoses. I was responsible for supervision and training of Case Managers and Front-Line Floor Staff. I was also responsible for planning and facilitating all programming at Montana Creek. This included recreational activities, mealtimes, SELF and TIP curriculum, healthy lifestyle activities, and substance abuse education.Additional responsibilities included serving on the Stakeholder's Commitee for Juneau Youth Services for two years. This committee met once a month to improve company relations with community partners, clients, and employees.
