Mainly for machining parts, tooling & equipments.• Identify, develop & qualify suppliers in China to support Low Cost Region outsource strategy.• Set up and develop the supply process & quality inspection procedure.• Plan and execute online source bids to achieve deflation.• Support SAP team for completion of SAP blueprint & implement.Major Accomplishments:• Enlarge IDM ADM from US & EU in China from $426K to $3.2M. Drive $1.3M cost avoidance.• Manage IDM on time delivery rate at 98% and rejected & return rate less than 3%.• Successfully help to set up new EEH production line in China & Hungary.• Got twice management awards.

Role & Responsibilities:• In charge of indirect material procurement of all sectors and divisions in East China, including office supply, redecoration, equipments, facility & service.• Be consistent with and develop the commodity strategy and sourcing. Lead cost-saving projects.• Conduct supply market intelligence and spend analysis, involve representatives of internal customers.• Negotiate the quality-cost-delivery driven prices and structures. Ensure supplier performance based on Key Purchasing Indicators. Maintain and improve the relationship with Key Suppliers.• Support the new facility launch within China.

Role & Responsibilities:• For local client, provide feasibility study, including exploring, collecting and analyzing the client's purchasing portfolio and data, internal system and process, personnel and organization, business partner and industry environment, that have an impact on the client's procurement cost and profitability.• Carrying out spend analysis by material groups. Analysis supplier list, price benchmark, SWOT analysis. Setting up cost reduction objectives per material group. Developing execution plan.• Negotiation with current suppliers, developing new sourcing strategies and setting up a new supplier base, pre-screening, RFQ, qualifying short list, sampling, auditing suppliers and negotiating. Introducing new suppliers with full consideration of geographic diversity, engineering capability, cost leadership, etc.• For overseas client, identifying suitable products for the Asian supply market, collecting needed product information, screening the Asian market for alternative suppliers, checking capabilities and references of identified suppliers, carrying out RFQs, auditing preferred suppliers, follow up producing and samples testing, quality inspection.Major Accomplishments:• Successfully finished 3 on-site local projects and 4 sourcing projects.• On-site local projects, cost savings ¥6 million for material groups including machining, welding assemblies, casting, forging, hydraulic, etc.• Sourcing projects, provided satisfied suppliers or solutions to all these clients with qualified products.

Orgnize seminar for all mills quarterly.• RFQ, marketing and cost & saving opportunity analysis, tendering, contract negotiation, ensure to meet the needs of user departments. • Maintain the annual contracts and prices in SAP system.Major Accomplishments:• Performed in top 5% amongst over 30 peers; earned accelerated promotion within 15 months.• Kept a stable relationship with suppliers to improve the services in mills.• Organized MRO parts consolidation procurement SDA consisted of different mills and departments in China. Rated up consignment from 40% to 70%, procurement by contract from 30% to 65%, improved the timely delivery and the FPY, reduced the cycle time from date of PR release to PO release from 10 days to 6 days. Total cost saving more than ¥15 million. Awarded second prize in HQ SDA from CEO and second prize in procurement MBOS from Procurement General Manager for initiative and leadership.• Organized the localization project for MRO parts used in all mills in China and Indonesia, screened qualified suppliers and set up qualified suppliers list.• Optimized the management of rolls and grinders in mills, reduced the overall cost through TRM project.• Set up and optimized the PR rules, internal procurement processes, improved purchasing efficiency.
