I am a software developer at Pariveda Solutions where I've been working since the summer of 2014. I have experience working in .NET using C# working from UI down to the database, which also includes experience working in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I have experience using SQL where I've created tables, query for data on a regular bases, have written stored procedures, and used SQL profiler to enhance performance. I also have experience building SSIS packages and SSRS reports. I also recently passed the first of 3 certification tests for MCSD: Web Applications which is titled: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin where I played for their roller hockey team and started tutoring kids for fun. That eventually led to teaching high school math at West Mesquite High School for 6 years. I taught geometry for 5 years, and honors algebra II and precalculus for my final year. My first programming experience started when I was in between school years teaching geometry, and I was looking for a way to make my job easier and more exciting for the upcoming school year. I was in awe the first time I was able to access my website from anywhere I was and that is when I saw the power in programming and the Internet.
