I shoot corporate photography regularly for CEOs of Hewlett-Packard and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Corporate work, for me, involves following top CEOs around the world as their personal fly on the wall and shooting them as they work. Some other clients include Google, Mayo Clinic, and Virgin Galactic. I also shoot political photography on a regular basis for organizations like the Hoover Institution, the McCain Institute for International Leadership, and the George W. Bush Presidential Center. I still shoot occasional non-political editorial photography for the Associated Press, Los Angeles Times, and The New York Times.

Documented the candidate’s national presidential campaign. Shot for the campaign’s digital team and social media, and its television and print advertising.

Cupertino, Ca

Documented the candidate’s campaign for governor of California. Traveled throughout the state to photograph her at rallies, meetings, and news events. Produced images for the campaign’s website, social media, and television and print advertising. Also created slideshows and videos for major campaign events.

Washington D.C.

Photographed President George W. Bush’s presidency for all eight years, providing public and private images for the National Archives, The George W. Bush Presidential Library, White House website, print and television media, and the family’s personal albums. Documented the president daily in the United States and abroad with other world leaders at historic summits, in Oval Office developments, on 9/11 and during the president’s downtime. Managed, motivated, and evaluated 13 employees, including photographers, photo editors, and support staff. Provided budget oversight and ensured we followed legal and ethical protocols. Directed the total conversion of the White House Photo Office from film processing to a cutting-edge digital workflow and archive system. Maintained a Top Secret clearance.

Photographed domestic and international news, sports, and feature stories, including two presidential campaigns, four Olympic games, four Super Bowls, four World Series, three Academy Awards, two World Cups, natural disasters, civil unrest, refugee crises abroad, and celebrity news. Also, as West Regional Staff Photographer for the AP, based in Albuquerque, I focused on breaking news and enterprise stories in the West. Was chosen to test the first professional digital camera marketed for photojournalists. 66th National Headliner Awards, 2000 - Feature Photography.
