Gained experience working in multistory apartment complexes in downtown Colorado Springs. Experience ranged from running circuits to power apartment units, pulling wire for switchgear sized up to 750kcmil, building out panels, installing breakers and terminating the proper circuits to their designated breakers, bending EMT conduit, working with 14/3 wire all the way to 6/3 wire for different devices and equipment throughout the project, trimming out units and completing “hot checks”, laying small teams out with tasks and material after reading prints.I was directly responsible for the completion of all bathroom drop ceilings and leading the team that worked on completing all 207 units. The tasks included working with 14/2mc and running the circuits for the lighting, using telescoping brackets to mount 4” square metal boxes, securing all circuitry with CJ6 cable supports, installing fire alarm relay shutoffs which included 14/3 wire tied into the nearest fire alarm as well as tied into the hvac equipment to shut the units off during the event of a fire. The bathroom drop ceilings also had the hvac units which we wired with 8/2 or 6/2 and phased the neutral since it was being used as a hot conductor. When each of the bathroom drop ceilings were complete I was responsible for walking them and confirming the circuitry was run correctly, the terminations were done properly and secure, the strapping was up to code, and the location of where the light boxes were mounted matched the prints. I was also responsible for running conduit in the parking garages for all the circuits that ran across or into the parking garage. The main project regarding conduit was the car charging station which included several thousand feet of conduit, mainly 1 inch EMT.
