Led a team with the goal of evaluating and selecting an Investment Risk and Performance Attribution platform for a $10 billion Asset Allocator.• Major goals for system selection included: risk attribution, VaR analysis (Ex-Post, Ex-Ante, Conditional VaR, Component VaR, Marginal VaR), risk aggregation and decomposition (organization of risks into systematic and idiosyncratic risks), portfolio and benchmark analytics, scenario analysis, stress testing, what-if analysis and performance attribution.Lead a team with the goal of merging a Quantitative Equity Manager’s operations and technology onto one centralized platform with an income-oriented Fixed Income Manager. • Converted and partially rebuilt two separate quant platforms that combined information and technology to allow the Quantitative Equity Manager to create Alpha Models. Lead multiple teams with the goal of implementing FactSet to provide risk, performance analytics and attribution across the State of Wisconsin’s Investment Board’s (SWIB) entire investment pool. Part of scope included:• The Core trust fund aggregation of investment risk for all investments made by SWIB over time • Investment and performance attribution for a ‘best ideas’ portfolio that contains multiple strategies comprised of complex securities • Risk analyzer report allowing SWIB to analyze systematic risk across multiple factor models Lead a team to implement Novus as a portfolio intelligence platform that provides SWIB’s Funds Alpha team with a tool to analyze their hedge fund’s performance attribution and investment risk utilizing the following views and functionality:• Absolute and relative contributions to risk and performance by Hedge Fund• Security level profit and loss analysis within each hedge fund• Batting average analysis which breaks down each manager’s individual bets into the percentage of bets/ stocks are winning• Factor analysis including the market, size, value, momentum, shifts in the yield curve, etc.

- Led a full service model outsource RFP and oversight model development for a large investment manager to support the build out of an ETF product line. Responsibilities included defining operational requirements, constructing and executing a comprehensive service provider RFP. Deliverables included a service model review, operational requirement definitions, financial analysis and industry research in support of the initiative. Subsequent deliverables included a detailed oversight model program to support the implementation.- Managed the design and development of an Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) module for the Eagle/STAR accounting platform for a leading global service provider. Partnered with the various ETF business groups to gather and document business requirements to meet the tactical needs of new clients (ETF sponsors/clients) as well as firm’s long term strategy to service this product type. Responsible for writing all required functional specification documents and managed a team of programmers in the creation and development of the agreed upon design. Conducted working sessions with the user community to ensure that the business requirements were built into the final product, as well as garnering approval for all design decisions. - Performed operational review and identified strategic long and short term opportunities for a large bank’s mutual and hedge fund custody operations. Co-led project team in performing a current state analysis and worked with executive team to identify strategic technology enhancements and product opportunities.- Core member of project team responsible for developing a data management strategy for an investment manager. Participated in assessment of clients’ current environment including all technology platforms and operations areas involved in producing or consuming data. Responsibilities included the identification of long-term data management strategies and development of a future-state operating model.

Enterprise Risk Services (ERS)- Work as lead Sr. Consultant on a number of large audits servicing Financial Investment Management Firms and large Insurance Companies.- Leverage exceptional project management skills to successfully meet client and projects objectives on time and under budget. Also responsible for maintaining and tracking multiple budgets through the use of Access generated budget to actual reports.- Simultaneously managed multiple projects and held a substantive role on small and large engagements- Supervised staff by ensuring deliverables met engagement time lines and by reviewing work papers- Conducted interviews with clients management and operations staff to further understand the client organizations business requirements and conduct operational-centered risk assessments - Work closely with team members as well as client’s management and staff to develop efficient and productive working relationships.- Develop and implement test plans that determined within the operational organization’s policies, business processes, and procedures areas of improvement.- Responsible for successfully creating final reports and closing meetings materials.
