Unit Manager
CurrentResponsibilities-Manage a crew of 20 to 25 personnel at a 24 hour business-Monitor food cost, payroll, operating, and general usage of utilities on a daily basis-Count the amount of food on the floor and pull enough food in order to have a 36 hour build up every day-Make schedules every week to accommodate all employees-Help other managers from other stores with staffing if possible-Close out all sales and information on a daily basis and keep detailed records of that information Contributions-After only three months since becoming a Unit Manager I started running my Waffle House without a District Manager, reports directly to the Division Manager-Brought down Food Cost by 1-2 percent and Operating cost down by .5 percent since taking the store over in October of 2017-Conducts interviews of potential new employees and makes recommendations to the Division Manger on finally hiring decision-Reworked schedule to have it be more efficient for all employees-Brought up morale of the store by being more proactive and engaging the employees on all shifts-Started new procedures, such as how we run the dish pit, to ensure that all personnel are more efficient in order to better serve our customers
