Currently employed as a Senior Site Supervisor at the U.S. embassy in Baghdad, Iraq dealing with security and the multiple facets that encompass it. Day to day duties and scope include direct supervisory training, manning and placement of +40 armed guard personnel representing the countries of Uganda, Peru, India and Turkey surrounding the embassy perimeter. Additional duties involve proper vetting of visitor access requests of local national and dignitaries from around the world. Responding appropriately and professionally to all alerts and alarms at any given time.Combat veteran with over 21 years of military experience between the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army. I have held duty positions ranging from rifleman, team leader, dismount squad leader, Bradley section leader, administrative technician(training room NCO), platoon sergeant, drill sergeant, marksmanship instructor and current operation operations NCOIC in a combat theater. Between the two branches of service I have over 7.5 years experience as an instructor in varying areas such as marksmanship, tactics, hand to hand combat, physical fitness, land navigation, security, basic battle field forensics, sexual harrassment/sexual assault reporting, counseling and professional development, equal opportunity representative and mentoring. February of 2017 I completed the United States Army's Marksmanship Master Trainer Course. This course provides commanders with select marksmanship master trainers who understand how to train marksmanship and develop primary and assistant instructors. Shortly after graduating the course, I was utilized as a primary marksmanship instructor in Fort Knox; molding current college students into future Army officers. Out of 4 primary instructors in this role, I was personally acknowledged by a 1 star general for my teaching and mentoring abilities. In March of 2018 I returned from a 6 month deployment in Kabul, Afghanistan where I served as the Afghanistan National Defense Security Force Command Joint Operations Center (ANDSF OPS CJOC) Battle NCOIC. My principal duties in that role were:-Responsible for the daily cross-coordination with the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Interior.-Performed as liason and supervisor of 8 Afghan officers ranging from Lieutennant to Colonel and 4 linguists; relayed vital information in relation to the region, surrounding populace and insurgent activities.-Responsible for the vetting and badging of new personnel within the organization and other additional duties.
