I worked at Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 1 from October 2015 January 2017 where I had the task of acting as the main technician for troubleshooting, setting up the deployable network, and system administration to over 600 members of the battalion. While in battalion, I helped train four people how to use equipment, troubleshoot the network, and properly work at the helpdesk. I spent September 2013 to October 2015 at Hopper Operation Southeast in Norfolk, Virginia where my duties were system administration and floor technician. My responsibilities included troubleshooting and setting up video teleconferences on a top-secret network. At the beginning and end of each working day, I carried out an inventory of all equipment. I also trained six members how to troubleshoot and day to day responsibilities. At both stations, I learned the value of responsibility to the team, keeping organized and paying attention to all details of my work.
