This is a Staffing agency, which means they use me, and I use them to find temporary contract work.They work in the Telecommunications field, and I have acquired a lot of skills in this field from this company. I have been responsible for moves, adds, and changes at Blue Cross Blue shield. This entails anything from gutting and rebuilding entire wings of buildings, to a simple telephone move. I have also been a part of many complete new and existing client builds.

Greater Seattle Area

I worked as a commercial hvac start up tech. This involved running control wiring, installing controls, devices such as duct motor dampers, motor drives, economizers, thermostats, humidistats, co controls, and some complete building automated controls. I also had to install/braze copper tubing, evacuate and charge systems. I also did air balancing which at times required changing out sheaves. I did a lot of new construction, however there where some remodels. I was in charge of unit startup and everything that entailed short of running the ductwork.

Greater Seattle Area

I was a residential preventive maintenance technician. I went to peoples homes and serviced their furnaces, fireplaces, water heaters, tank less water heaters, ac units, heat pumps. I also worked the vacuum truck to clean ductwork. In doing these maintenances, I would regularly find problems that would require repair, at which I had a stocked truck to make repairs, and if items were needed to be ordered, I would return to complete repairs.

I was in charge of installing networks, anywhere from adding a single drop to going off of a design to install and populate complete data infrastructure. I installed and terminated Cat5, Cat5E Cat 6, Cat6a, Fiber Optics, and Coaxial cables.

Columbia, South Carolina Area

I was responsible for helping build and install metal and flex ductwork, run copper line sets, setting units. I also was part of pressure testing homes, duct rewrap jobs, running thermostat wiring, and customer service. I learned a great deal of what it takes to put a ventilation system in almost equal part, new and existing homes.
