I am both a wordsmith and a musician, with over twenty years under my belt utilizing both of these talents in a professional capacity. As a musician, I've composed numerous soundtracks for film and video, performed to sold-out crowds at most of the major venues in Southern California and beyond, taught at a college level, and either produced or recorded music tracks for hundreds of corporate and artistic clients. My writing contributions to the world-renowned band Shadowfax helped lead to a Grammy Award nomination in 1992. I am also a graduate of the prestigious Musician's Institute in Hollywood, CA. As a writer/editor, I've contributed over 1,500 encyclopedic articles for the popular website, www.retroland.com. I've written hundreds of technical documents and pages of copy for numerous websites, as well as printed material. I specialize in the area of pop culture, notably toys, foods, movies and television shows from the 50s-90s. But that is not where my talent and experience ends. I've served as a content manager and blogger at Retroland for almost eight years, developed and maintained their social media presence on Facebook and Twitter, and acted as the voice of Retroland. I've also created thousands of images in Photoshop for the site, moderated well-populated message boards, and developed promotional partnerships with clientele from the entertainment industry.
