• Executed major system upgrades from the research stage through the support stage such as Microsoft Exchange 2007 to 2010 and a conversion AD/SunDS two-way synchronous system to an AD/IBM Tivoli two-way synchronous system
• Worked with Compellent to create near-synchronous replication of critical University system LUNs to a geographically distant site
• Created multiple multi-path trunk networks for both data and storage traffic that are physically separated until top of rack switch
• Operated closely with the Network Infrastructure department to implement new systems at both hardware and software levels
• Evaluated current backup and disaster recovery strategies to enhance disaster preparedness, increase backup reliability, and establish best-practices
• Performed nightly system backups, maintained system stability and compliance, and fixed system bugs as they occur
