I recently finished a one-year accounting clerk certification program at PCC and am looking to contribute my accounting knowledge to the right team. I have a little over a year of bookkeeping experience working for a small Portland contractor and have many more years of experience working in administrative/support roles in the information technology field.My professional background demonstrates an ability to adapt well to different roles and environments, though I gravitate towards roles that require analytical thinking and problem solving, as I perform well in those areas. I pride myself on clear and thoughtful communication as well, as it is foundational to any relationship personally or professionally. Timely and tactful communication from all members is an important ingredient for a successful team. Whether working on a team or individual project, I take strong ownership of any task I work on and place a high importance on seeing things through especially when others are relying on me.I am looking for an accounting position in an environment that is mutually beneficial to the employer and employee. I want to contribute my accounting knowledge and years of business experience while also getting an opportunity to grow and learn personally and professionally. I see continual learning and growth as an ongoing process, I think it keeps life interesting.
