Recognized as a responsive leader, Eric Guyer offers over 25+ years of expertise in program management, strategic planning, operational oversight, risk analysis, and team leadership and development. Over the course of his career as a senior member of the U.S. Special Forces (Green Berets), Eric has continuously optimized organizational performance through the rapid identification and resolution of operational challenges in an ever-changing global environment. Eric currently serves as the Assistant Program Director for the 7th U.S. Special Forces Group (Airborne). In this leadership role, he has overseen an enterprise-level change management initiative focused on the assessment, acquisition, and subsequent training for new combat resources and military group assets ranging in function from specialized equipment to emerging technologies. Prior to this role, Eric contributed as a Senior Operations Manager for the Headquarters of the 7th SFG, as a Special Forces Senior Communications Sergeant, and as a Senior Instructor for the JFK Special Warfare Center. Eric, furthermore, has completed several combat deployments in the Middle East and Southeast Asia and provided leadership for numerous special training events with coalition and partner forces across the globe. Eric will be transitioning from active service in 2019 and is currently reviewing new opportunities in the greater Fort Walton Beach- Crestview-Destin Metropolitan area. Senior Operations Manager7Th Special Forces Group (Airborne) 2013 - 2016Eglin Air Force Base, FloridaFrom 2013 to 2016, Eric contributed as a Senior Operations Manager for the headquarters of the 7th Special Forces Group where he oversaw a team of 200 Special Forces Soldiers as well as millions of dollars in capital group assets. Over the course of his tenure, he developed and implemented numerous process improvements and also established an innovative train-the-trainer program in advanced maintenance to ensure that group vehicles and equipment were fully operational at all times. Eric, concurrently, managed a highly-specialized team of 34 prepared to deploy worldwide within six hours of notification and was requested, by name, to oversee a Presidential security detail in the Caribbean requiring precise coordination with the U.S. Secret Service. -

Over the course of his tenure, he mentored, coached, and evaluated over 200+ students per year while supervising a team of 8 Assistant Instructors and $500K in instructional resources. Not only did Eric earn recognition from the Commanding General of the U.S. Special Operations Command for his outstanding performance during a VIP visit, but was also chosen to represent the U.S. Special Operations Command during a high-profile training exercise in Tel Aviv. -
Senior U.S. Special Forces Communications Manager7Th Special Forces Group (Airborne) 2002 - 2010Fort Bragg, North CarolinaImmediately after graduating from the U.S. Special Forces Qualification Program in 2002, Eric was promoted to the position of Senior Special Forces Communications Sergeant. As a key member of a 12-man team, he was responsible for planning, implementing, and executing real-world operations and exercises in highly-austere environments across the globe. Over an 8-year period, Éric managed over $500K in group communications assets and developed and facilitated specialized training programs that enabled our foreign partners to build their skills in counterterrorism and counter-narcotics tactics. Eric additionally served as an Assault Team Leader during Operation Iraqi Freedom where he led teams of U.S. Joint Task Force members and partner nation counterparts in the fight against terror. He also earned recognition from U.S. Ambassadors, country team officials, and foreign military leaders for contributing towards regional stability objectives after executing multiple joint training exercises in places to include South America and the Caribbean. -
