Served exceptionally as a Rifle Squad Leader in which I led, trained, deployed my 9 man squad to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom XVI from February 2014- November 2014. While deployed I participated in over 80 combat patrols and 5 named operations in support of our strategic goals. Re-deployed my entire squad with no injury or loss to any personnel. Additionally, was accountable for over $3,000,000.00 in equipment with no loss during my tenure.

Performed duties as the Squadron Battle NCO during training and combat operations in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom XII. Analog and digital battle tracking during combat operations. Proficient in CFOP (Command Post of the Future), Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Graduated the Battle Staff Non-Commissioned Officer Course with a 94% academic average my tenure in this position.

Trained, coached, mentored and led 3 subordinate personnel in all administrative tasks and operational training, including a combat deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom VII from Jan 2007 - October 2007. Conducted over 100 patrols and 8 named operations in support of the Theater Tactical Reserve, clearing the Taliban strongholds of Sangin, Hyderabad and Kajaki. Sustained no injury to or loss of any personnel during the rotation.

Assigned as the Platoon Radio & Telephone Operator. Controlled information flow up and down the chain of command during all operational scenarios. Received reports from Platoon members and relayed them effectively to Platoon leadership, allowing the Platoon leadership to make rapid but informed decisions. Additionally communicated with higher levels of the chain of command, such as the Company level and Battalion level. Sent reports such as locations, situations and any other pertinent information to these levels. Assisted in the Medical evacuation of any wounded or ill Platoon members by calling in the medical evacuation request and speaking directly to aviation and ground medical platforms upon their approach to our location.

Provided 1/3 of my Squad's firepower. Provided area suppression during engagements with enemy combatants, achieving overwhelming fire superiority and allowing my Team and Squad freedom of movement and maneuver. Deployed in this position in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom III from Sept 2005 - Jan 2006.
